Vectorized Characters for HWT&P Museum
From January to May of 2023 I worked with the Hamilton Wood Type and Printing Museum. One of the projects I completed was vectorizing 18 different styles of alphabets while being provided only with a photograph of a letterpress print of each alphabet. I was able to edit the characters to be more legible while still retaining the subtle textures that make them recognizably letterpress prints. If a character was not provided it was my job to create the character based on the clues from the other characters. These vectorized alphabets are now available for the Hamilton Wood Type and Printing Museum staff to use.
